I turned my ugly $2 garage sale tray from this

to this.

Cute huh?

So, by popular demand this is what I did:

I prayed the tray with regular cheap walmart white paint.

I did a clear coat as well (walmart spray paint again).

Then I picked cute scrapbook paper and glued it to the base of the tray.

For the final look and since I wanted the tray to be water proof I used this:

When you use epoxy you mix equal parts from the two bottles that come with it. Pour over surface and blowdry it with you hair dryer to pop the bubbles. Then just let sit in a level surface for 48 hours.

Now all I need to do is get sick so my hubbs can bring me breakfast to bed. Or, maybe wait till mothers day :)
